TODAY's mission is to develop frameworks for large scale, mission critical applications that transcend technology trends over time.

Methodoloy

While TODAY is an active open source supporter and contributor to industry wide technology, TODAY products are developed, sold and supported as proprietary commercial technology.

Technology

All TODAY products are based on the BuildProfessional framework for technology independant business solutions. The framework is the basis for interoperability with hardware, operating systems, databases and user interfaces. Core technologies are built on XML and related industry standards.

Expertise

TODAY leverages business value from three main areas of expertise:

• Large Scale Applicaitons. Understanding the fundamental issues in managing large source code repositories. Rather than build and deploy, the life cycle of a large scale application is continuous.
• Rapid Development. Delivering solutions that solve constantly changing business challanges, requires rapid application development. In rapid development it is fundamental to allow the developer to be highly productive without limiting a solutions business value.
• Identifying Strategic Computing Technologies. When managing solutions over 10 to 20 years, it is important to navigate between strategic and interim technologies.
